Deer Valley Resort Sold

Deer Valley has been acquired by a newly formed entity comprising of KSL Capital Partners, LLC and Henry Crown and Company, which in July partnered with Intrawest Resort Holdings, Inc., Mammoth Resorts and Squaw Valley Ski Holdings. The transaction is expected to close prior to the 2018/2018 ski season.

“We could not be more pleased that Deer Valley Resort will be part of our new company, and we look forward to working with the staff and Park City community to carry on the traditions that make it so special”

The sale is an exciting opportunity for all those involved, as the resort has been very successful in recent years and this will allow them to expand. It should be noted that Deer Valley will retain ownership of Solitude Mountain Resort and that the resort will honor existing passes for the full 2017/2018 season.

Deer Valley is located in Park City, Utah in the the United States. It was a venue during the 2002 Winter Olympics and offers a more upscale experience than some of its competitors.
